Destination Gozo, Airport to Gozo Transfers!
The only International airport that services the Maltese islands is situated on the main island of Malta called MIA. To get to Gozo you have two options either by seaplane from the Port / city of Valletta or catch the ferry from the Port of Cirkewwa on Malta to the Port of Mgarr on Gozo.
I will try to explain the various routes to get to Gozo.
If you are arriving on Malta via the International airport.
- You can catch the Route bus no. 8 from the Airport to the City Valletta, than another bus no. 45 from Valletta to the Port of Cirkewwa. Again on Gozo either get a taxi from the harbour to the accommodation, or catch bus no. 25 to Victoria than bus no 87 from Victoria to Xlendi.
- The last option is, we can arrange the taxi / mini bus for you, all we need is the number of persons in order to provide you with the appropriate taxi or mini bus, flight number and time of arrival. We have special discounted prices, if you personally hire a taxi / mini bus from airport stand, you will pay a much higher price. These prices are the best deal you can get, and you are kindly requested to pay our driver directly. A taxi from the airport to the Port of Cirkewwa for 1-3 people will cost Euro 21.00 one way total, a mini bus for 4-10 people will cost Euro 25.00 one way total. On Gozo a taxi from the Port of Mgarr to the accommodation for 1-3 people will cost Euro 16.00 one way total, a mini bus for for 4-10 people will cost Euro 18.00 one way.
